Batman Beyond - Concept 3.0

Compared to the version I did about a year ago, this design isnt that much different except for a few (in my mind) improvements.

For the sake of the concept demonstration, I kept the pose more static, rather than have him performing something far too dynamic which would obstruct certain areas.

I did away with the shiny vinyl underlining suit, and replaced it with just a pure black matte finish. It didnt occur to me at the time that a hero that relies on stealth would have a hard time with a highly reflective coating covering half his body.

Next, I modified the torso details to be more simplistic and functional, providing the extra covering over the more vulnerable mid-section, rather than the sides. A couple of seams along the sides of the upper leg harken back to my previous design, but are subtle enough not to make the new midsection look awkward.

The forearms have more detail and show more articulation, and help to show the utility they provide the suit, since it is there where most of the projectiles Batman uses are stored (batarangs).

Finally, the headpiece is now more of a hardened shell/flight-helmet, and ditches the mouth in favor of a more plausible and sensible sealed facial area. To me, it seems alot smarter to do have this to provide more protection and better concealment for Batman's identity.
